Why has C3 chosen to implement this strategy? As an innovation school focused on creativity, community, and challenge, C3 believes we can more effectively integrate the tenets of creativity into the curriculum if we switch to a CTS structure. Additionally, we believe that CTS will allow teachers to more aptly differentiate instruction in each content area, and therefore challenge each student most appropriately. The intention is that there will be two co-teachers that know your student well. CTS was recommended by the staff to ensure our vision and mission will be achieved. Raising test scores was never a consideration in the recommendation of CTS. Through CTS the teachers become experts in their content areas and help children receive the highest quality instruction while integrating creativity, community, and challenge.
